Engineering approach

A rigorous engineering approach, from analysis to operations.

Four clear phases, deliverables at every stage and your teams involved from the first workshop through to production.

Our method

An approach grounded in understanding your business.

We always start from the concrete problem before designing the technology.

  1. 01 PHASE_INIT

    Understand

Immersion in your workflows and real-world constraints to pinpoint operational priorities.

  2. 02 PHASE_DESIGN

    Design

A clear, intuitive user experience, validated with your operational teams before any development begins.

  3. 03 PHASE_BUILD

    Build

Rigorous, stable development with no superfluous dependencies, ensuring longevity and maintainability.

  4. 04 PHASE_RUN

    Evolve

Ongoing support, user training and transparent operational maintenance over the long term.

Deliverables

What you receive at each phase.

Understand

Process mapping, prioritised pain points and a costed scope for the first version.

Design

Interactive mock-ups validated by users, data model and documented technical architecture.

Build

Regular releases to a staging environment, automated tests, source code and operations documentation.

Evolve

Monitoring, corrective and evolutionary maintenance, onboarding of new users and a shared roadmap.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions about our approach.

How long does a typical project take?

A first useful version is usually delivered within eight to twelve weeks. The scope is deliberately narrow so that teams get the tool quickly, then it is expanded through iterations.

Who owns the source code?

You do. The source code, documentation and hosting access are handed over to you. You remain free to evolve the tool with us or with another team.

How do you involve our teams?

Future users take part in scoping workshops, validate the mock-ups and test every release. Their feedback determines whether we move on to the next stage.

A project to build? Let’s talk.

Let’s have a straightforward conversation about your organisation, your current processes and what technology can help you improve.
